Catechists are required to attend a certification training through CGSUSA. Certification begins at level 1 (ages 3-6), then builds into level 2 (6-9) and level 3 (9-12). Certification for level 1 is an in-person 90 hour training course.
Catechist Aides assist in creating a prayerful, peaceful environment in the atrium. Aides help the children with small tasks and assist them in deepening their relationship with God.
